I entered the dental world in September 2009 after many years in the financial sector and I'm so glad that I now work at The Village Dentists, the practice is very friendly and very special (I love my job). In my spare time I like reading, fishing and cooking, I'm always trying new recipes on my family.


Maksad Al-Nakib

Maksad Al-Nakib qualified with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery from the Unversity of Dundee is 2008. Keen to expand his clinical skills, he decided to take up a one-year training course as Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Loncoln County Hospital. Alongside his hospital job, Max obtained his MFDS qualification from the the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Since Since 2000 and he has been providing high quality dentistry in the UK and internationally. In 2019 Max completed a three-year Masters degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol with merit. He also has a special interest in Mini Smile Makeovers (composite bonding). His interests outside dentistry include writing, poetry, swimming, travelling and meeting people. Max is married with two young children and loves spending time with family and friends.


Dr Arezoo Faroughi
DDS, MFDS (RCSE)

Arezoo is a member of the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS). She carries out a range of different dental treatments including minor surgery, restorations, root canal treatments, paediatrics and conservative treatments. Arezoo who is a perfectionist and is continually expanding her facial aesthetic skills by attending more advanced training courses and her ambition is to become a specialist in conservative dentistry. Her interests outside dentistry include reading, swimming, watching movies and cooking.


Nikki Peverley

I qualified from Newcastle University in 1989. In 2009 I became certified as an Invisalign provider and I find great satisfaction using this system to straighten teeth. Outside of work I have three grown children, I enjoy walking and observing wildlife in the beautiful Northumberland countryside and I am a keen rugby fan.

My career in dentistry started in 2004 when I worked at Newcastle dental hospital as a student dental nurse. Once I had qualified as a nurse I went on to be a dental hygiene therapist and graduated in the second group at Newcastle to be trained in dental hygiene and therapy.


Deborah Prince

I qualified as a dental hygienist in 2007, although I enjoy my job in my spare time I am learning to become a dog groomer to allow me to cut and trim my own dogs, Ralph and Ruby. I enjoy watching most sports and I'm a big snooker fan. I recently joined a gym and enjoy long walks with my dogs as well as reading and autobiographies.

I qualified as a dental nurse in 2003. I am part of a great friendly team and together with my colleagues provide our patients with the best care. I enjoy travelling (especially cruises), spending time with my family and friends, walking and going to the gym. I am also a keen baker of speciality cakes and I enjoy cooking.

I qualified as a dental nurse in 2015 and I really enjoy working in this practice, the work is varied and interesting and I'm hoping to eventually become a qualified Dental Therapist. Outside of work I enjoy driving, electronics, filmes and travelling (especially to Los Gigantes in Tenerife).
